OPENNESS is an overarching concept or philosophy that is characterized by an emphasis on transparency and free, unrestricted access to knowledge and information, as well as collaborative LINK or cooperative management and decision-making rather than a central authority. Openness can be said to be the opposite of secrecy.
AN INTRODUCTION TO ART, PEACE AND CULTURE.
It is our goal with the use of a computer and simple art techniques taught to elementary school children to create a visionary image of the importance of culture in our lives and for future generations. We desire to see a world in which culture and creativity can be cultivated at an early age, thus contributing to the continuation of peace among peoples and nations.
In an effort to create this artistic bridge with young children, you will be able to view extraordinary works of art created by elementary school children from Vienna (Austria).
The great benefit of computer sequencers is that they remove the issue of skill, and replace it with the issue of judgement. With Caustic 3 or Artrage, anybody can actually do anything, and you can make stuff that sounds very much like stuff you'd hear on the radio, or looks very much like anything you see in magazines. Today we are clearly and strongly aware of the important influence of the creative spirit in shaping the human personality, bringing out the full potential of children and adolescents and maintaining their emotional balance - all factors which foster harmonious behaviour.
Please take time to peruse this site and get a glimpse into the future through the eyes and artworks of our children. Peace begins with one person finding the most appropriate tools to reach into the next generation. As we continue to look for beauty and harmony, we can learn to create a more peaceful environment which can spread to the world.

Ich bin Französischer Multimedia Künstler und arbeite gerne im multikulturellen Bereich, Kreativität und sinnvolle Beschäftigung mit dem PC – insbesondere für benachteiligte Kinder – sind mir ein Anliegen. Ich leite vom Kulturkontakt Austria gesponserte Workshops in Volksschulen seit 2001 LINK und bin Kunstvermittler im Bereich Graphics, 3D, Animation, Musik. Alternative und kostenlose Softwares werden verwendet.
AWARENESS, OPENNESS TO EXPERIENCE.
Der große Vorteil von Computern ist, dass Geschicklichkeit in den Hintergrund und Entscheidungskraft in den Vordergrund rücken. Mit Audio und Grafik-Softwares kann jeder alles machen und man kann damit Dinge machen, die genauso klingen wie die aus dem Radio und genauso aussehen wie die in den Zeitungen.
Die Frage lautet also nicht mehr, ob man es machen kann oder nicht, da jeder es machen kann, wenn er nur bereit ist, sich ein paar Tage vor den Computer zu setzen, die Frage lautet vielmehr: Wofür entscheidet man sich?
Wir wissen heute, dass Kreativität eine wichtige Rolle bei der Persönlichkeitsentwicklung spielt. Kreative Kinder entfalten ihr volles Potential und sind emotionell ausgeglichen. Mit einem Computer zu arbeiten, wird für unsere Kinder Bestandteil ihres Lebens sein. Sich mit diesem Medium auch künstlerisch zu beschäftigen ist eine Chance der Bewusstseinserweiterung.
